Lorraine F. (Giordano) DiTucci died peacefully at her home in Medford on Monday, Dec. 30. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Bertha (Perachi) Giordano.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Thomas DiTucci and devoted mother of Diane (DiTucci) Kavanaugh and her husband Paul Jr. of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Kerry Kavanaugh Solowski and her husband Jason of Atlanta, Lori Kavanaugh of Malden and her fiancé Scott Rosen, Paul Kavanaugh III of Brooklyn and his fiancée Kristen Connolly.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, Jan. 3, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's name may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
