Mary Guarente died on Sunday, Dec. 1. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Guillioti) Guarente. Mary was a lifelong resident of Medford and worked for over 40 years at John Hancock Insurance.
Mary was the loving aunt of Judith Colella and her husband Richard of Reading and the late Michael DiMarzo. She was a loving great aunt of Richard Colella Jr. and Christine Castelli, both of Reading, Anthony DiMarzo of Dracut and Lindsay DiMarzo of New York City, and great great aunt of Jordyn and Joseph Castelli and Alexander Colella. Mary was the sister of the late Dorothy DiMarzo.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
