Obituary: Nancy Bradanese, Medford Native

Bradanese was a registered nurse at Winchester Hospital and Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Nancy E. Bradanese died peacefully in Winchester Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 4. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Looney) Hunt. After training at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, she worked for 42 years as a Registered Nurse at Winchester Hospital and the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Nancy was the beloved wife of Gerald Bradanese Sr., and devoted mother of Gerald Bradanese Jr. and his wife Karen of Billerica, Sean Bradanese and his wife Tracy of Revere, Missy Costa and her husband Andrew of Reading and Marc Bradanese and his wife Debbie of Billerica. She was the loving grandmother of Eric, Nicholas, Patrick, Hunter, Bradley, Lynsey, Josh, Katie, Tyler and Colin, and sister of William Hunt of Stoneham, John Hunt and his wife Rosalie of Billerica and the late Kevin Hunt.

A funeral service will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Nancy's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
