Obituary: Patricia Walsh, 85, of Medford

Patricia M. (Wilson) Walsh, of Medford, formerly of Lexington, age 85, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, after a long illness.

“Pat” is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, David W. Walsh and children Janet M. Walsh of Somerville and Michael G. Walsh and his wife Stephanie of Southborough. She was also the mother of the late David W. Walsh III and sister of the late Norman G. Wilson. She is survived by four grandchildren: Conor, Stephen, Matthew and Megan, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a member of the Catholic Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem with the rank of Lady of the Grand Cross.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass. Ave., North Cambridge, from 3-7 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Funeral mass to be held on Monday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, followed by internment at the Westview Cemetery, Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s name to Lawrence Memorial Hospital/Regis College, 170 Governers Ave., Medford. Patricia graduated from Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Funeral home parking available at Pemberton Garden Center.
