Obituary: Richard Garneau, Vietnam Veteran, Lived in Medford for 50 Years

Garneau died Sunday, Nov. 24.

Richard Garneau, of Everett, died Sunday, Nov. 24, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. Born in Cambridge the son of Eugene and Stella (King), he lived for over 50 years in Medford before relocating to Everett. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and later worked as a parts manager in the automotive industry.

Richard was the devoted father of Paul Garneau and his wife Linda of Everett, Mark Garneau and his wife Karen of Deerfield, N.H., and was the loving grandfather of Kassidy, Alyssa and Justin Garneau.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Richard's name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
