Robert J. Megna died unexpectedly at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was 68.
Mr. Megna was born in Boston, the son of the late Anthony and Margaret (Settipani) Megna. He operated a restaurant “70 Broad Street” in Boston for many years, before his retirement. He was a good brother and friend who was devoted to his children and especially his grandchildren.
The beloved father of Pamela Parker of Winthrop and Stephen Megna of Medford, he was a loving grandfather to Jessica, Skylar and Cheyenne. Robert was a dear brother to Tony Megna of Medford and Marguerite O’Malley of Plymouth.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Robert's name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
