Obituary: Stella A. DiCarlo

DiCarlo lived in Medford for 60 years.

Stella A. DiCarlo, 86, of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness at home.

Born in Cambridge, she resided in Medford for the past 60 years and was the daughter of the late Concetta (Schillaci), Arthur “JoJo” DiBiase and Joseph Vicari.

Stella was a payroll clerk at the former Lechmere Sales in Cambridge for 30 years and retired in 1994. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and cooking.

Beloved wife of the late Dominic. Devoted mother of Sandra DiGiacomo and her husband Dick of Medford, Philip DiCarlo and his wife Rita of Danvers, Connie Sicuso and her husband John of Stoneham. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Jennifer, Paul, Juli, Gina, Ariana and the late Mark. Loving great grandmother of Gianna and Reese. Sister of Gaetano Vicari of Tewksbury and Carmela Laskowski of Woburn.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
