Pauline Walker, Medford Teacher for 50 Years, Dies at 77

Walker was also a lifelong Medford resident.

Pauline E. (Sullivan) Walker, 77, a lifelong resident of Medford, died on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013.

Pauline was the beloved longtime City of Medford school teacher for over 50 years. She was the former wife of the late William R. Walker and the loving mother of Noralee Walker of Concord and David Walker and his wife Suzanne of Lynnfield. Beloved sister of Jean Sullivan of Marshfield, Ronald Sullivan of Medford the late Stephen Sullivan. Pauline was also the dear aunt of Joel and Kevin Gould.

The funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Square in Somerville, on Tuesday morning, Dec. 31, 2013, at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church in Medford at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be at the Doherty Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 30, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Andrews Middle School Drama Club, 3000 Mystic Valley Pkwy, Medford, MA 02155.
