On Wednesday, January 15th, 2014, Whole Foods Market Medford is donating 5% of the day's sales to the Medford Farmer's Market. Their incredibly generous donation goes towards supporting a community asset that is filling a need in Medford and will allow them to continue to expand the connections of local food to Medford residents.
Please shop at Whole Foods Market on January 15th so that we can all benefit from this very community-oriented program and company. The Medford Farmers Market will have a table in the store on the 15th from 11am-8pm. Stop by to say hello, enter their raffle to win one of several interesting prizes, and pick up a special recipe that will feed a family of 4 for under $10! Raffle prizes include a pack of tickets the Boston Aquarium!
The Winter Farmers Market is Medford's best kept secret! It can found directly across from the Summer Farmer's Market location in the basement of the Hyatt. Park in the lot behind the hotel, go in the back door and turn left to the elevator. Take the elevator down to the parking level. Parking is not allowed inside during the Market and the air is clean and fresh. There is plenty of room to safely let your children run around!
The Market is 3-7PM on Thursdays through March 6, 2014.
