Medford Man Allegedly Deals Drugs Outside Fresh Express in Tewksbury

He and an Oxford man were arrested after the alleged transaction.

Police conducting surveillance outside the Fresh Express in Tewksbury arrested two men Tuesday, June 3, after an officer allegedly witnessed a drug deal involving cocaine, morphine and Oxycontin.

The officer was on Shawsheen Street in Tewksbury, police said.

Following the incident, police arrested Michael A. Albano, 58, of 5 Richard St., Medford, and Christopher M. Beurman, 47, of 43 Leicester St., Oxford.

Albano was charged with two counts of possession to distribute cocaine, distribution of cocaine, possession to distribute a Class A drug (morphine), possession to distribute a Class B drug (Oxycontin) and conspiracy to violate narcotic laws.

Beurman was charged with possession of a Class B drug (cocaine) and conspiracy to violate narcotic laws.

Both men were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Wednesday.
