Police Log: Cocaine Charges For Three

Notable entries from this week's Medford Police log. The following information was supplied by the Medford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is a selective list of entries from the Medford Police log from Saturday, Feb. 9 through Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 and any arrests recorded during that time. 

Charges are alleged. Locations, times and events appear as they are recorded by police.

Arrests and Summonses

James Marino, 21, 41 Edward St., Medford, was arrested Monday, Feb. 11 on Hicks Avenue and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property over $250.

Martha Fernandez, 18, 70 Revere St., Everett, was arrested Monday, Feb. 11 on Mystic Valley Parkway and charged with shoplifting by asportation.

James Feeney, 51, 50 Hicks Ave., Medford, was arrested Monday, Feb. 11 on Hicks Avenue and charged with assault and battery.

Nicholas Vita, 19, 24 Valley St., Medford, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 12 on Main Street on a warrant and charged with conspiracy to violate drug law, disorderly conduct, distributing class B drug, drug possession to distribute, assault and battery, assault and battery on a police officer and two counts of possession of a class B drug.

John Viera, 62, 55 Jerome St., Medford, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 12 on Jerome Street and charged with possession to distrbute cocaine.

Michael Hendricks, 37, of an unknown address, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 12 on Jerome Street and charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession to distribute cocaine, cocaine trafficking and possession to distribute drugs.

Joseph Zimmerman, 39, 55 Jerome St., Medford, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 12 on Jerome Street and charged with two counts of possession to distribute drugs, conspiracy to violate drug law and cocaine trafficking.
