Police Log: Pair in Stolen Car Arrested

A man and woman from Somerville each face multiple charges after they allegedly stole a GPS from a car on Tyler Avenue, then tried to flee from police in a stolen car Wednesday afternoon.

Michael Barnett, 31, of Somerville is charged with leaving the scene of property damage (two counts), failure to stop for police, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, breaking and entering, larceny, use of a motor vehicle without authority, unlicensed operation, negligent operation, and possession of burglarious equipment. Kelly Murray, 31, also of Somerville, is charged with larceny, breaking and entering, use of motor vehicle with out authority, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, and possession of burglarious equipment.
