State Police Shooting Closes Route 16
Two men were reportedly shot in a vehicle near the Meadow Glen Mall.
State Police shot two men in a car on Route 16 near the Meadow Glen Mall early Friday morning.
Why the men were shot is not known at this time, but the two injured men were reportedly taken to Mass General Hospital. The incident took place around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Route 16 is closed in both directions, while police investigate the shooting. State Police are asking commuters to seek alternate routes in the Medford and Somerville areas.
