If re-elected, what would your top priority be on the city council?

My priorities for the next term are to go to work as soon as possible on assessing in detail the capital improvement plan which is still being prepared by the Mayor’s office. I hope to make this a thoughtful and thorough process with particular emphasis on the financial dimensions and debt service issue. It will be particularly important for me to separate fact from much of the fiction, which has been spread regarding the some financial aspects of the plan we have yet to see. I will be a strong voice to make sure our Public Works and Police Departments find new homes as part of this plan. I also hope to continue to participate in the progress of Medford Square’s economic development and to help find ways to provide city services, which meet taxpayer expectations.
