Councillor: What Happened to MBTA Bus Shelters on Fellsway?

Two are no longer there, according to City Councillor Michael Marks.

City Councillor Michael Marks said Tuesday that two MBTA bus shelters on the Fellsway have been removed.

Marks said the shelters in question were in front of the Dunkin’ Donuts and Stop & Shop at the Fellsway Plaza.

At the request of Marks, the council passed a resolution to send a letter to the MBTA inquiring about the bus shelters.

In addition, at the request of Council President Robert Maiocco, the resolution requested that a representative of the new owners of the Fellsway Plaza come before the council.

“I hear there are going to be big changes,” Maiocco said. “It’s going to impact that whole area.”
