Medford Democratic Caucuses Saturday, Feb. 22

Anyone can attend, but you must be a registered Democrat by Jan. 31 to vote.

The following is from Medford Democratic City Committee Chairman Paul Donato.

The Medford Democratic Ward and City Committee will hold Caucuses across the city on February 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. to elect delegates and alternates to the 2014 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. The convention will take place on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Elected delegates from across Massachusetts will vote to endorse candidates for statewide office.

All are welcome to attend the caucuses. Any individual registered as a Democrat as of January 31, 2014, may vote in the caucus for the ward in which he or she is registered. Only those registered democrats present may vote or be nominated as delegate candidates. (Members of the U.S. armed forces that are unable to attend may request to be eligible for nomination by writing to the ward chair prior to February 8.)
