On the Agenda: Proposal to Exclude Dogs from Tot Lots, Review of Crime Lab Scandal on Medford

A look at some of the items from this week's City Council meeting.

The City Council will consider a resolution Tuesday to ban dogs from tot lots in Medford, according to a meeting agenda.

Councilor Breanna Lungo-Koehn submitted the resolution, which calls for the council to amend the city parks ordinance to ban dogs from tot lots. It's one of several resolutions to be discussed by the council during its 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday. Others include:

  • A resolution from Councilor Paul Camuso, requesting Police Chief Leo Sacco inform the council whether the recent Massachusetts Crime Lab scandal impacts any cases prosecuted out of Medford
  • A resolution from Councilor Robert Penta to discuss recently release Massachusetts crash site statistics.
