TV3 Closed For 'Building Safety Issues'

The station will be closed until Jan. 22 at the earliest due to a foundation breach at 5 High St.

TV3 Medford Community Cablevision's Director of Operations Daniel Sarno, Jr., announced this week the community access station will be closed due to "building safety issues" at its 5 High St. headquarters.

Sarno sent Patch the following statement in an e-mail:

Just wanted to let the community know that TV3 has been closed for the past week and will remain closed until at the very earliest 1/22/13.

The high water table in Medford Square has caused a portion of 5 High street's foundation to breach, constantly flowing water into our space. We are working with the property manager of 5 High Street as well as a team of engineers to fix the structural problems.

To assure the safety of our friends, members, and staff, TV3 will remain closed during this maintenance period.

We express out sincerest apologies for the inconvenience placed on members and we are working to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
