With Tuesday night’s forecasts predicting roughly 6-10 inches of snow for Medford, the district canceled school in the city for Wednesday at about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Medford ended up getting only a few inches overnight, so we ask you:

Should Medford students be in school? Should the district have waited longer to make the call? Or did school officials make the right call based on the forecasts?

It is good to call early so people aren't scrambling, that said the weather forecast better be good, in this case it was off a bit, but did make the morning commute nice. I don't blame Belson for the meteroligists missing the mark. He has to make the call with what he knows.
