Cirelli was first diagnosed with cancer, specifically soft-tissue sarcoma, during his senior year of high school, according to a past event posting. After many treatments, the cancer, Ewing’s sarcoma, returned in June 2013. Cirelli, who was captain of Medford High’s cross country team, had surgery to remove the new tumor in August.

Cirelli has a brother, Jared, who is currently a junior at the high school.

The fundraiser will have raffles, a DJ, light fare and a cash bar. It’s $25 for adults, $15 for students.

Tickets are only available by contacting:

  • Julie Andrew at 781-393-5525
