An off-duty police officer intervened and most likely saved the alleged victim from injury, according to police.
Suspect allegedly passed a note at East Cambridge Savings Bank saying he had a gun while demanding money.
The "second suspect" in the Boston Marathon bombing is in police custody. He had been surrounded in a boat sitting in a Watertown backyard.
Police said one victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene on Medford Street in Malden last night near the Medford-Malden line.
One female victim was treated for reportedly "severe burns" near the Medford-Malden line and rushed to Boston Medical Center, according to reports.
A man was hospitalized and later released with minor injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Police are looking for Daniel Rossetti, 20, of Medford, who updated his Facebook status to read "f___ the police" hours after the shooting near Ryan's Family Amusements.
MBTA Police discovered the suspect had additional warrants out for his arrest.
