The Medford Family Network is for parents and caretakers of children, prenatal to age seven. Run by the Medford PublicMore Schools, the network is a parenting education program and family support system. This support comes in the form of the Medford Family Center (located in the Medford High School), special citywide family events and activities, ESOL classes, information and referral sources, parent support groups, playgroups, newsletters and much more. Programs are free of charge.

Medford's only public High School is set off from the street along Winthrop Street, north of the Mystic River. ItsMore facilities include about 70 classrooms, space for vocational programs and athletic fields.

Behind the school, there's two newly installed artificial turf playing fields with lights. The fields were built in 2010 at a cost of $2 million.

Headmaster Paul Krueger is the school's top administrator.

This alternative high school serves a small number of public school students who are intellectually capable, butMore struggle to overcome social or emotional issues in their academic endeavors. A staff of about 10 administrators and teachers works with students in small groups and one-on-one settings. The school is located next to Tufts Park and swimming pool.
