Medford Woman Charged with Offering Sex at Somerville Massage Parlor: A 25-year-old Medford woman allegedly tried to give a massage to the "genital area" of an undercover cop at a Somerville massage parlor and offered to have sex for $500, according to a Somerville police report. Natalia Silva, of 10 Lincoln St. in Medford was arrested May 9 at a massage parlor in Somerville at 503A Medford St. in Magoun Square, according to police. 2. Showers Likely: There's an 60 percent chance of rain showers today, according to the National Weather Service, with highs around 70 degrees. Similar weather is expected tomorrow. 3. The top two vote-getters between incumbent Michael McGlynn, and challengers Anthony D'Antonio and John Byers will advance to the general election in November. Medford Remembers 9/11: The city held a service to remember 9/11/2001 at Morrison Park Sunday morning. Mayor Michael McGlynn, Rep. Ed Markey and several local veterans addressed the crowd gathered in the park. Tufts Tops Athletic Center: Tufts University held a cermony Wednesday to celebrate the "topping off" of its new sports complex on College Avenue. The 42,000 square foot Steve Tisch Sports and Fitness Center will include new locker rooms, film classrooms where athletes can study footage, a sports medicine suite and activity rooms for things such as aerobics, Pilates, dance and physical education. Deval Patrick to discuss the project, which recently was pushed back by at least three years. Curtatone called the delay "unacceptable."
