Chapdelaine told the Arlington Board of Selectmen Monday night that 7,200 gallons of oil was vacuumed up, 1,000 gallons was absorbed in pads and booms in the water and another 1,000 gallons was collected from …

The nurse who tended to Krystle Campbell Monday in the Boston Marathon medical tent recently spoke with CNN.
The nurse who cared for Krystle Campbell Monday in the Boston Marathon medical tent told CNN that she didn’t die alone and didn’t suffer long. “We did everything we could to save her, but her wounds were too great,” Stephen Segatore, who works in the intensive care unit at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, told the cable news station. Campbell, a 29-year-old Medford native who most recently lived in Arlington was one of three people killed in Monday’s bombing at the marathon. Segatore said that when EMTs carried Campbell into the tent, he was struck by “her beauty, her youth and her bright blue eye shadow,” according to the report. She reminded him of his oldest daughter, he said. He told CNN that Campbell was not breathing and unconscious …

Krystle Campbell, the 29-year-old Arlington resident who died Monday in the Boston Marathon terror attacks, was a popular manager the Jimmy’s Steer House in town, according to a restaurant director. “You didn’t have to know her a long time, you’d like her immediately,” Nick Miminos, Jimmy’s director of operations, said Tuesday afternoon at the restaurant. Campbell had been a manager at the restaurant for three months, he said. She was “one of the hardest workers” and not afraid to work in the trenches and get her hands dirty, he said. Campbell, a Medford native and 2001 Medford High School graduate, was at the finish line to cheer on her boyfriend who was running in the marathon, according to earlier reports. “It’s a big loss to the …
