This Thursday had the Medford Fire Department dealing with a haz-mat condition of a suspicious solvent product inside a FedEx truck at the Meadow Glen Mall. On Friday, there was an early morning two-alarm building fire on 225 Fores St., when firefighters thought an elderly woman and child were trapped in a burning attic. The firefighters breached the attic and found all was secure. Four firefighters were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation; all made a full recovery.
