MassDOT Public Meeting Tuesday Night at McGlynn Middle School

The state Department of Transportation is required to hold public meetings in advance of developing a long-term financing plan for the state’s transportation system next year.

Residents can hear from state transportation officials and ask questions about the MBTA, MassHighway and more at the McGlynn Middle School Auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 6-8 p.m. According to a press release from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), legislation passed in August requires MassDOT to host at least six public meetings in advance of developing a long-term financing plan for the state’s transportation system next year. Representatives from each division of MassDOT—RMV, Highway, Aeronautics and MBTA/Rail and Transit—will be available to answer questions and provide information. The Boston Globe reported that Gov.
