Last Friday, the city of Medford introduced the members of the newly-formed city Bicycle Advisory Commission at a press conference at Medford City Hall. Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn said the commission has been put together in part to come up with "safe routes" for bicycling throughout the city. McGlynn said there have been several recent tragic incidents involving bicyclists in Greater Boston and the new commission will help establish criteria for biking in the city.
