How Can We Make Every Day Earth Day? (Sponsored)

Very few events are celebrated around the globe, but Earth Day is. This year, it’s come and gone. But we’re here to ask: What can we do to show our love of the earth on that day, and every day? Medford 2013 Trash & Recycling Guide

On their Twitter page, the City of Medford released information regarding their recycling and trash program for 2013. The guide, in PDF form, can be viewed to the right or by clicking here. Some facts included in the guide: Medford's recycling rate has increased to 25 percent as a result of single-stream recycling; the city also saved $365,295 as the amount of trash disposed by residents was 5,128 tons fewer than the previous year. The guide includes important information regarding the recycling program and also what days are holidays for trash and recycling pickup. This month, President's Day, Monday, Feb. 18, is a pickup holiday. Collections will move to the following day, and Friday collections will be done Saturday. Any changes to the …
