One Charged, One at Large in Store Robbery

One suspect showed a knife while the other assaulted a clerk with an "aerosol spray."

Medford Police recently arrested one suspect and are still seeking another in an armed robbery that took place at Fred's Gas Station on Mystic Avenue late last month. Jesus Carrasquillo, 19, of 889 County St. in New Bedford, was arrested Feb. 7 by police and charged with armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon for his alleged role in the robbery. A second suspect remains at large, according to Medford Police Capt. Kevin Faller.  Faller said the two suspects entered the shop on Jan. 29 and stole cash after the second suspect allegedly showed a knife and Carrasquillo allegedly used an "aerosol spray" on a shop clerk. Robbery Reported at Kohl's in Medford

Two reportedly in custody.

Kohl's on Mystic Valley Parkway in Medford was robbed this afternoon around 1 p.m., according to emergency communications. On Twitter, Alert New England reported first that the store was robbed and one suspect was in custody. A few moments later, Alert New England reported a second suspect had been taken into custody by Massachusetts State Police. They also stated the robbery was reported as an unarmed one. Police: Malden Robbery Suspect Fled Through Medford on Moped to Somerville Home

Man allegedly robbed an unidentified credit union in Malden around 3 p.m.

Malden and Somerville Police worked together to find a bank robbery suspect who fled Malden in a moped, and then apparently a cab, before hiding in a home on Montgomery Ave. in Somerville.  The site of the initial robbery is not yet clear. The suspect was arrested in Somerville shortly after 4 p.m., according to police radio transmissions. The suspect fled from the scene in a blue moped, wearing all black, including a helmet with a black and white design and a grey hoodie, according to police scanner transmissions. He first travelled down Route 60 before ditching the moped for a cab, which was allegedly spotted on Mystic Avenue. Police found two mopeds blocks from the scene of the robbery, with ownership information for one of the vehicles…
