Mayor looking for $3.2 million in water improvements.
The Medford City Council will discuss the $3.2 million water improvements loan order at their committee of the whole meeting starting at 6 p.m. tonight. The meeting will take place in room 207 of Medford City Hall and there will be a regular meeting starting at 7 p.m. in the Howard F. Alden Auditorium. Take a look at the meeting notice and agenda here. Medford Mayor Michael J. McGlynn is making the request for the loan order. Originally, the loan order appeared on the regular meeting agenda for Feb. 5, but McGlynn asked the council to discuss the order at committee of the whole before taking action. If approved, the loan would come from Local Pipeline Assistance Program of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA).
