U.S. Postal Service Keeping Saturday Delivery
The U.S. Postal Service had planned to end Saturday delivery.
The United States Postal Service says it will "back down," on its plan to end Saturday mail delivery, according to the Associated Press Twitter feed. The U.S. Congress forced the Postal Service to cancel its plans, according to the AP. The postal service had planned to end Saturday mail delivery by Aug. 1 as part of its large plan to deal with its large debts. "Congress has prohibited implementation of a new national delivery schedule for mail and packages, which would consist of package delivery Monday through Saturday and mail delivery Monday through Friday, and which would have taken effect the week of Aug. 5, 2013," the USPS Board of Governors said in a statement. @ Who me, come on man please...The USPS as well as AMTRAK are huge tax open sore bleeding payer subsidies...This is BS, the U>S> Government can't, and in fairness shouldn't be, running what is a potential boon for the country & tax payers.
