ReplyI was there...it was a group of hells Angels..plus other groups..so you get your facts straight. Also he wetboro bap church had no intention of coming here..but all these groups..angels, teamsters run w the rumor to pat themselves on the back. sorry the truth hurts but facts are inconvenient things sometimes.

ReplyWhy don't the councilors worry about building up Medford square which looks like a set from the Walking Dead after 7pm or build up Mystic Ave which is a ghost town...so worried about other towns improving the life for their citizens we end up looking more and more like Chelsea..way to shoot high Medford!

ReplyFunny I remember the police enforced parking a few years ago and many merchants bombarded city gall with complaints that they were hurting their businesses..now you want enforcement? Be wary of what you wish for bc the police if ordered will enforce I'm assuming and you don't want a rep like Winchester where you park for one minute overtime your ticketed..its a catch 22.

ReplyIf anyone thinks the medford public school system offers a great education to its children you are delusional...the system is overwhelmrd with inexperienced , unqualified teachers and disgruntled. Lazy older teachers. Many try, many don't. Add in the many diverse cultures and you get a stagnant learning machine. Look at the scores. Look at the kids who go on to decent colleges. Anybody can go to community college for 2 classes. Many of these kids can barely read. This is just the way it is..not an attack on teachers. It's probably like that with the fire and police department. Unqualified people permeating our public sector.

ReplyI'm not saying the legit poor are the problem..I'm saying the freeloaders who are able bodied but would rather collect than try to work..ate the problem..and they are everywhere.I see it all the time. Ssdi, welfare are a drain on society..I too have seen the hookers on Salem street..some of them live at the corner if fellsway andsalem and you should see the characters who live there..addicts, drug dealers etc. We have almost 50 million on food stamps so its either we have lots of scammers or they are all legit. If that's the case then blame Obama and democrats who continue to grow social boondoogles. Since medford voters vote overwhelmibgly dimoccrat expect nothing to change

ReplyIt always starts off with good intentions then when no one buys these overpriced units the city sells out to affordable housing and the freeloaders move in bringing drugs, fights etc...take a look at the much ballyhooed old schools that were converted..they now house more problems than you can imagine..drug users all over.people if medford just have to accept we are a few years away from Lynn, chelsea and revere..some people embrace that...if you don't..start looking elsewhere because mayor mike has a plan baby.
