Medford Native Sets Up Shop in West Medford

A Medford native is working to establish his business in the city.

D.J. Dabenigno, a 28-year-old Medford native, is hoping his business’ relatively new physical space in West Medford will help establish him in the city.

Dabenigno, a locksmith, opened Dabbs Lock as a remote business in 2005. This past February, he opened his first store at 470 High St. in West Medford.

In addition to giving Dabbs Lock some presence in the community, Dabenigno, who has the Massachusetts State House on his list of clients, said the space gives customers a place to reach him, and he’s able to sell products, such as electronic keypad locks.
