Obituary: Ann Marie Ciarlone, Nurse Recruiter at Lawrence Memorial Hospital

Ciarlone died Friday, Oct. 25.

Ann Marie Ciarlone, of Medford, died Friday in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

Born in Newton and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Gardner) Stack. Ann Marie worked as a nurse recruiter employed by Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Ciarlone, and devoted mother of Anthony Ciarlone and his wife Shannon of Medford, Deborah Davis and her husband Buddy of Burlington, Robin Murphy and her husband Michael of Tewksbury, Linda Spangler and her husband Jay of Billerica. Ann Marie was the loving grandmother of Nicole, Daniel and Kristen Davis, Robert, Steven and Scott Spangler, Derek and Alice Murphy, Brendan, Ryan and Evan Ciarlone. She was the loving sister-in-law of Lucille Tedesco and her husband Ed of Burlington, Frank Ciarlone and his wife Anna of Stoneham, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Ann Marie's name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Division Of Development/Jimmy Fund, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
