Where are the White Progressives Now

An African American woman who lives in Medford is being maligned by TV3 and members of TV3 AS a black woman.  Why are you standing by and doing nothing.  Is it because talking about race is uncomfortable or is it that you see the TV3 issue as an insider "townie" vs. "townie" fight that you do not wish to get into?  Well as a "townie" I invite you to join with Ms. Doreen Wade and myself as we confront racism and sexism in TV3.  Ms. Wade by her own testimony stated that board members of TV3 called her a "nigger" and a "black bitch".  Who among you are going to stand by and do nothing.  You are as guilty as the TV3 Board members who have maligned her.  As a "townie" I invite you to stand up for Ms. Wade with all the power you have at your disposal to organize and march on City Hall and tell the Mayor that this is unacceptable.  We want a new TV3 Board and we want Justice for Ms. Wade - and we want it NOW.  Otherwise you are all just a bunch of hypocrites, no better than the townies that produced the prejudice you think you are above.
