A 30-year-old Medford man allegedly offered a 12-year-old Mansfield girl cash and gifts in exchange for nude photos of herself.

Peter Campobasso, of 21 Vista Ave., Medford, was arrested Friday after police executed a search warrant at his home. He was charged with posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct, according to a Mansfield police release.

Campobasso allegedly contacted the girl online. Police are looking into the possibility that he victimized more children online.

“Campobasso is believed to have befriended many young girls in the Mansfield/Attleboro area via Facebook and Social Media,” according to the department’s release.
