Medford Man Charged with Stoneham Murder Held Without Bail

Jessie Williams, 24, was arraigned Monday in Woburn District Court.

The two men suspected of a double shooting in Stoneham last Wednesday that killed one man and injured another were held without bail Monday by a Woburn District Court judge, according to a release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

Jessie Williams, 24, of Medford, and Eugene Tate, 19, of Malden, were arraigned on charges of murder, armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.

Woburn District Court Judge Timothy Gailey made the call to hold the men without bail. Their next court date is a probable cause hearing on Monday, Aug. 12.
